 Protection from microbes 

• It has long been known that breastfeeding children are more resistant to infections (gastroenteritis, otitis media, etc.) than others. Babies don't yet have a well-developed immune defense system, and they benefit from your milk. Microbial development in breast milk is resisted by both immunological and non-immunological products.
• Certain antibodies (secretory immunoglobulins of the type IGA, IgG and IgM) that compensate for the transient absence in the intestinal cells of newborns and infants. These antibodies are against staphylococcus, streptococcus, pneumococcus, etc. They are obviously associated with infections that were vaccinated by the mother (polio, tetanus...) or vaccinated voluntarily.
